I own a 1995 integra gs-r with a crv-vtec and so far it has a compression of 9.5:1 i think. I heard it was not ok to have forced induction on a crv block is this true or can i just run about 7psi safely still with my stock internals? I was thinking of adding a block gaurd but what kind of block gaurd would i use, one for a crv right? Thanks

Really there are no oil spray bars and the crankshaft isn't balanced to spin over 7500 rpm?!? How could i raise the redline father than 7500 rpm also is there a way to cool down those rods and pistons? A intercooler would help but is there anything else out there? thanks smile Yep a newbie

The main thing when boosting that engine combo is to avoid detonation like the plague. Tune carefully with a detonation sensor/safeguard. Those puny rods with those big pistons on that big stroke crank don't handle detonation well.

First, welcome to the board newbie.

You can run 7psi on the stock internals... remember however, that there are no oil spray bars to cool the rods and pistons nor is the crankshaft balanced to spin over 7500 rpm... so if you keep the revs lower than this, you should have a good chance at some long-term reliability.
